Coco Zhou, who brought Chinese Language and Culture classes to Wayland's public schools, is leading the effort to offer a beginner level class for adults. You will learn how to communicate in Chinese on common topics. You will learn about many important and practical aspects of Chinese culture - traditions, customs and values. The class introduces basic elements of the Chinese language, the Chinese pronunciation system using the English alphabet, and basic Chinese characters.
When traveling in China, you'll be able to ask prices, order food, or engage in conversation in Chinese. Is your child learning Chinese? You'll be able to converse with him or her. Finally, you will be able to connect with other adults who share an interest in Chinese Language and Culture.
