Little Local Vocals After School Children's Chorus
Grades 1-5
Be part of a fun choral experience that gives students in Grades 1-5 the opportunity to sing with children from all over Wayland. LLV offers 2, 13-week sessions of classes, each with 60-minute weekly classes plus a full-group dress rehearsal and concert. Each session has its own repertoire so new singers who join Session 2 will be able to join right in. Classes will begin in February in each of the Elementary Schools.

Concord Scholars, Institute for Arts and Languages
After School Spanish Enrichment Classes
Grades 1-3
Children will learn the basics of communication, such as salutations, opinions, introductions and giving descriptions of people and things. As classes progress, students will learn to talk about themselves, their feelings, interests and more. These skills will be reinforced through in-class activities that will make learning fun. Adaptability is our priority, along with ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in which your children may learn and hopefully acquire a love for Spanish language and culture.
Sign up now for the Winter/Spring 2024 Session of Concord Scholars. Classes begin in January, located in each of the elementary schools.

iCODE Of Wellesley Coding Enrichment Classes
Scratch is one of the most popular introductory computer programming languages available. Students in grades 2-5 will learn basic concepts of programming and computational thinks, including but not limited to: Introduction to Scratch IDE (Integrated Development Environment); Preliminary concepts of Computational Thinking; and Basic programming concepts such as: variables; operators; loops, event; actions; and animation.

The goal is to introduce these concepts at an early age through enjoyable and fun activities that incorporate STEM concepts into play or everyday activities. Children explore with LEGO Bricks, Kapla blocks, K'nex education sets, Snap Circuits, and other STEM toys. The key notion is that children learn best when they are having fun.
GRADES: K-2
TIME: 1:50 pm - 3 pm (Students come upon dismissal and may bring a peanut-free snack to eat before activities begin.)
