2. Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP) next steps As part of the Committee�s Long Range Strategic Planning process, the Superintendent and the School Committee have selected 8 goals for initial consideration. They include:
Later in the meeting, the School Committee began to establish goal teams for the 8 prioritized goals mentioned above. Each goal team will include a school administrator, a School Committee representative, and possibly a community member, a teacher, and/or a student. In some cases, such goals teams have already been established and are underway (for instance, the High School Building Committee and the negotiation team). The goals that are in need of teams include:

MCAS analysis After the forum, Cyndy Dunham, our Assistant Superintendent, presented a summary of the latest and historical MCAS test results as well as the analysis the curriculum leaders conducted at all grade levels. Our next meetings are scheduled for Monday, November 27th at 7:00pm (primarily an executive session to discuss the upcoming negotiations) and Monday, December 4th at 7:30pm, both in the School Committee meeting room on the second floor of the Town Building (full meeting schedule).
