WSCP ALSO OFFERS...

February and April Vacation Week Programs

Are you looking for school vacation week programming?  WSCP offers February and April Vacation Week programs with flexible scheduling.

The program is for children in Kindergarten through Grade Five. Each day offers a mix of free play and scheduled activity periods for cooking, science, arts and crafts, active games, music, and more. Children enjoy special events daily. A typical week might include field trips for mini-golf, bowling, or roller skating and/or make-your-own-pottery.

For information, call WSCP at 508-358-8617.

BASE - An Overview
Kindergarten Extended Day.
The Extended Day program begins when morning kindergarten ends and continues until 3:00 pm (1:50 pm, Wednesdays).  A hot lunch is served in the cafeteria or children may bring lunch.  In individual classrooms, activities blend free play and structured time.  Projects are designed to tap into each child's uniqueness and creativity. Extended Day gives kindergartners a chance to meet children who may not be in their morning class, thus creating many opportunities for children to grow socially.

Grades 1 - 4 After-School held in the child's home school To ensure a spot for your child, please enroll as soon as possible. We always maintain a wait list and notify families when openings are available. There is a two-day minimum, and no drop-ins are allowed in the after-school programs.

Wayland Middle School (Grades 5-8) After-School.  The program offers sports and games, arts and crafts, sewing, community service, cooking, walking trips in the neighborhood, and scheduled homework time. Fifth graders attend the BASE middle school program; a Wayland Public School bus provides transportation. There is a two-day minimum. For enrollment information in BASE programs, call WSCP at 508-358-8619.

Community Education and Global Languages

Art, STEM, Photography, Chinese Language and Culture, French and Spanish, volleyball, and Drama are among the enrichment programs WSCP brings to Wayland's children. Classes change throughout the year. Offerings vary by school and time of year and are publicized through school newsletters and e-blasts.
