The Assistant Superintendent's Office shares two main areas of responsibility: Human Resources and Curriculum & Instruction.
The Human Resources Office oversees hiring, staff deployment, recruitment, employment contract administration, employee services, personnel files, staffing statistics, and collective bargaining negotiations for the school district.
The Curriculum and Instruction function encompasses what we teach, how we teach it, and how that curriculum is spiraled through the K-12 school experience. Curriculum coordination and articulation is managed through this office. In addition, we oversee assessment and accountability, No Child Left Behind, and the professional development programs for our faculty and staff.
