Step 1: Pre-Register

• For ALL Families:
Complete the Kindergarten Pre-Registration form

* This form will alert us that your child is eligible to start Kindergarten in September 2024 (must be 5 years old by August 31, 2024) and provide us with an overview about your child, your family and any additional information you'd like us to know. Completion of a Home Language Survey for all Wayland students is also required, except for those that have rising Kindergarteners already attending The Children's Way Preschool.

Step 2: Enroll

• For NEW Wayland Families
Create a New Student Registration in eSchool Online Portal

* eSchool Online Account Setup Instructions for creating an account for Online Enrollment
Creation of an account will add your child to our district-wide database and be where you upload the required documents for enrollment. You can also save your work and log back in to upload the required documents later.

• For CURRENT Wayland Families (with older children in the Wayland school system)
Log into eSchool Online Portal (link) with your existing Login ID and Password to register your rising Kindergartener. If you do not remember your Login ID or Password, you will need to create a new account.
* This is a different login from Home Access Center (HAC).
* This will add your rising Kindergartener to our district-wide database.

•
For
CURRENT The Children's Way Preschool Families (with rising Kindergartener already enrolled and attending TCW Preschool):
The Children's Way Preschool families DO NOT need to enroll your child, fill out a Home Language Survey OR upload proof of residency documents, as your child is already enrolled in Wayland Public Schools.

1. Upload or mail (to your assigned elementary school) the Required Documents, which include:
Copy of Student Birth or Adoption Certificate, Proof of Wayland Residency, Proof of Wayland Occupancy and Proof of Identification (parent or guardian)
* METCO families DO NOT need to do this step, as you already provided your documentation to La Toya Rivers.

2. Upload or mail a recent Physical, which will need to include lead screening, tuberculosis risk assessment, and vision screening, as well as updated Immunization Records. A Health History (linkform is not required, but is helpful document for our Nursing staff.
